Boilerplate

VEN Method (formerly DeepConexion) is a teacher-led classroom ritual for social-emotional learning, run on the classroom screen. The whole class takes part, one round per pair of students — about three minutes each, for as long as the teacher chooses; two at a time pick and guess a secret colour, hold three seconds of eye contact, and answer the same open question while the class listens. Questions are drafted before class and approved one by one by the teacher; there are no student accounts, cameras or microphones. In a six-week controlled pilot at Svenstrup School, Denmark (800 students, 40 teachers), class cohesion rose +29% against +3.1% in control classes and unexcused absence fell −18% against a +2% rise. The method is published in full under CC BY-SA 4.0 and is free to run with paper; the software is sold to schools at $1 per student per month. Founded by Jesper K. Lassen, a Danish mentalist; registered in Texas as DeepConexion LLC.
